Effective Teaching in Diverse Classrooms

This program was developed in conjunction with professor Roland Tharpe and is based on the award winning CREDE (Center for Research, Education, Diversity and Excellence) pedagogy. The online program provides teachers with detailed instruction on implementing the six phases of the CREDE system. Included in the program are compelling real classroom examples of teachers in action implementing individual phases of the pedagogy. Teachers who are currently using the CREDE pedagogy should complete the entire program. However, teachers who have not adopted the CREDE system can still greatly enhance their skills by focusing on the specific teaching strategies recommended and illustrated in the program.
