I saw Tangled this week and loved it very much. So I wanted to try and draw Rapunzel :D No inking in the video this week, I was testing out my new TracePad light-box and it didn't show up well on video. ): I used my Copic Multiliners in Sepia and Wine and they were very temperamental to work with, be warned: they bleed like nobody's business. Two things I always get comments on - Yes, I know I didn't add her freckles - I chose not to add them - creative license!

And yes, her neck is long - I like elongated necks on character I draw, it's just the way I draw.

I really like this video, I love watching how people colour their art, but her neck and head alignment is a little strange.... I think her neck is just a little too long, but I think if you scanned this in to PS or a different art program (even mspaint! ) and took her head (and hair) a little lower, it would shorten the neck. :3 but the drawing is beautiful
