System Shock 2 is a masterpiece that transcends computer gaming, it should be considered a cultural masterpiece. There was a time when I thought computer gaming was travelling in an aesthetic and philosophical direction whereby it could be compared favourably with the best of cinema (+ adrenalin of course) - System Shock 2 most of all, but also Deus Ex, Thief, The Longest Journey, Half Life, Mafia, Max Payne

The music that starts playing at 4:20 is sheer genius.

That audio log at 0:47 is absolutely badass.. scary and threatening, this is why this game rules, the many are monsters but they mock you and make you feel inferior and even more scared!!

cant remember exactly where in this game but the sythn music sounded like something from fear factory's first album
