My dear friend and collaborator John Heyn ('Heavy Metal Parking Lot') made this in 1984. It's a beautiful journey through the long forgotten movie theater landscape of Washington, DC. When I saw this I knew John would be a great friend.

    i wonder how many are still derelict in the US? I think there is literally a thumb full of small cinemas in the UK in operation. It's all big complexes that show progress of the cinema which destroy the vintage style cinemas of the last 40-50 years..! Very sad indeed!
