Flying my F-15 at a jet rally. Same JetCat P-120 as on my Kangaroo, real easy to swap from one plane to the other. Fully ducted with a bifurcated exhaust. Apollo 11 field, LA Jets 2004. Thanks to Kevin for filming!

  • how do the brakes work? spoilers? disc brakes?

  • @Curicua. The brakes and landing gear are pneumatically actuated. The brakes work similar to a drum brake, and are fairly simple. There is an o-ring recessed in the wheel hub with pneumatic pressure behind it, and it expands when the brake valve is opened. Some brake systems are simply on/off, and some actually provide modular braking.

  • That was incredible. I have 2100 hours in the real F-15C and I really enjoyed your video. Great Flying

  • Thanks man, for some reason I think flying the real F-15 would be a little bit more awesome. You are in the service I assume?
