Very helpful. So should I get the LX2 because I'm aiming for high lumens, easy carrying and throw very far. BTW.. What is the exact battery lifetime for both high and low on the LX2? I can't afford many batteries, so is there a chance surefire sale rechargeable batteries? Thanks for your help. I really want LX2..

the tailcap. The E2DL also has aggresive knurling on the body meaning it may damage your pants or clothing if it rubs against your body or clothing. The lx2 on the other hand is smooth so it doesn't catch your clothing as easily. Also a major difference is the pocket clip. The E2DL only allows you to carry it bezel up because the pocket clip is running down the body versus the LX2 which has a two way clip that allows you bezel up or bezel down. I hope I was of help.

I have the E1B E2DL and the LX2. The E1B Throws far but it is only 80 lumens so its not the strongest thrower. The E2DL is 120 lumens and the LX2 is 200. I personally like them both. It depends on what you're preferences are. The E2DL is 120 lumens on high and 5 on low with a clickie switch where you hit the tailcap switch lightly and it gives you a momentary on function and if you hit it hard it stays on until you hit it again to turn it off. On the LX2 it is momentary always unless you turn

Can you confirm? I can't decide between an E1L, E!b OR LX2. I also wanted to know do these flashlight throw very far.
