I fought my ex for custody, instead of having a fair court trial between her and I to find who would be a better person to raise our daughter I ended up having to fight her, the womens shelter, the courts and the children aid society, who also tried to get the Police on her side but they said that her story kept changing under questioning. @southperth22 And that's if the mother is playing fair.... My mom wasn't playing fair. And my dad was an OTR trucker who moved back home to save money and I only got to see him when his route took him nearby.

A man is responsible for half a child's upbringing cost, but at the same time, he should have equal access assuming that he didn't do anything.
