The late, great Walter Cronkite narrated a historical video about The Salvation Army more than 10 years ago. The title, "Others" comes from a story about founder William Booth. As the legend goes, General Booth sent the first trans-Atlantic telegram to Salvation Army officers. The message contained one word: others. Serving others in Christ's name is the mission of the Army and our message for all time!
