This video guides you through the steps of building a 10 watt FM broadcast transmitter and provides an overview of what is required to to set up an FM broadcast station
I really dislike PLL frequency control because I have had bad experiences with it on tuners, but do like that fact it helps with drift and stability. Do you use a BA1404 combo chip and a 19khz pilot crystal for stereo carrier?
I built and still have your VCO-type xmtr which can put out a few watts, although I prefer that it only runs a few hundred milliwatts so that the PA runs relatively cool. I had placed nice-sized heat sinks on the 2 PA transistors to dissipate plenty of heat, but it stll needs to run less than 1W out. Still it works quite well when feeding a vertical 1/4 antenna.
whats the website or how can I contact you to order the kit? e-mail me please john4magic@yahoo.com
