Hi everyone and welcome back to Clevver Games! I'm Andrea Rene here with news on the upcoming Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Besides revealing that the game will ship sometime this fall for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, Snowblind Studios and Warner Bros. announced the North American Collector's Edition and pre-order incentives for the game. The Collector's Edition for the action RPG will include some sweet items.
.
In addition to a copy of the game, you'll get a Ranger of the North Quiver Case so you can pretend to be like Aragorn. You'll also get a War in the North art book featuring concept art of key characters and enemies plus the gorgeous world of Middle Earth. There is also an inside look at the music of War in the north which includes interviews and footage of composer Inon Zur at Abbey Road Studios, plus 3 tracks from the soundtrack.
.
But that's not all! There are digital goodies as well like the Ranger of the North avatar for your Xbox 360 and a War in the North them pack for your PS3. All can be had for $129.99. Hmmm, I don't know about that, what do you guys think? Too pricey? Or totally worth it?
.
If you think it is too pricey and just want the regular game you can pre-order and still get some cool stuff but totally for free! Over at Amazon you'll get part two of the War in the North digital comic produced by DC Entertainment. It reveals the back story leading up to the events in the games, plus you'll get the Orc Champion Sword to use in your battle against Sauron.
.
If you're into the Elven lore you'll want to pre-order from Best Buy and get the Elf Theme Pack which includes a mystical Elven sword, armor, and helmet plus access to the Lothlorien Challenge Map.
.
Or if that's not your thing, at GameStop your pre-order lets you visit the Citadel of the Stars and the Tower of Stone in the Human Theme Pack which includes an exclusive human sword, armor, and battle garb of the Human Rangers. Plus you'll get to access the Osgiliath Challenge Map.
.
Over a Target your pre-order scores you 3 exclusive tracks from the soundtrack and at Toys 'R' Us you'll get a limited edition signed War in the North poster by Jim Lee and access to download parts one and two of the digital comic. Last but not least is Wal-Mart where the dwarfs apparently hang out. Let's be real, Gimli is freakin awesome, so if you want the Dwarf Theme Pack that includes an exclusive dwarf sword, armor, and helmet pre-order from Wal-Mart.
.
So what do you guys think? Which one sounds best? I'm having a hard time choosing between the signed poster and the Elven pack...hmmm decisions decisions! Let me know in a comment below which one you would pick. To stay up to date on all the latest news on Lord of the Rings: War in the North make sure to subscribe to us right here on YouTube.
