Dennis Shepard(The father of Late Matthew Shepard)

The death of Matthew Shepard terrified the nation on his brutal attack adn murder,Matthew was left to doe on high rigdge fence in Laramie,Wy on OCTOBER 6,1998 and 18 hrs later Matthew was found by a cyclist who mistaken him as a scarecrow tied to a fence bc it was almost halloween and the cycolist called the police and MATTHEW was tooken to the hopital and died on the Night OfOctober 12,1998!

@idaman12345 Niether did my twin brother. Noone 'chooses' a life wherein they are acquity aware so much ignorance & hate exists toward them merely resultant of sexual orientation they were born with. Thank God he's 6'4" & 200 lbs...he could have beaten theses scum solo. verbal treatment he endured by other guys angered me such I would've decked them however I am his twin sisiter...

This is a beautiful tribute to a true hero to us all. In his hellish death hate and ignorance were exposed in a powerul and tragic manner. Matthew did now die in vain. He is a hero to us all. I hope his parents recognize the tremendous service he did for the cause of equality, kindness, love and hope. Matthew will not be forgotten, rest assured.

@ToUrDome09 they killed him sure as sure gets.if they had not savagely pistol whipped him,tied him to a fence,and left him there,he would be alive today.therefore they killed him.what youre saying is that if someone takes a gun and shoots me,its not their fault.it was just a person pulling a trigger,not thinking about whats gonna happen when that bullet tears a hole in my chest and kills me.its the same thing.you cant say,it wasnt them that killed me,it was the gun.thats just ridulous
