John 1:1-5 and Genesis 19:1-29 {please read the description as well}

Sodom was a wicked place. Yet God did not allow the wickedness of Sodom to continue forever. Sodom was destroyed by fire from heaven.

Men will always doubt the reality of God's judgment.

Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way which seems right to man, but its end is the way of death.

Here's the Good News though folks, Jesus ALREADY paid the penalty for our REBELLIOUS acts - Jesus Saves!

Romans 10:9 - Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Also, to be 100% clear on this issue - IF YOU NEVER
(in this life) confess Jesus as Lord.. . you WILL in the next:

Philippians 2:9-11 - Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
