  • 40 years ago on this date.. Humanity escaped the grip of gravity and laid claim to the stars. One small step for man.. One giant leap for Mankind.

And one day we will return to the stars enmass to carry the Hope of Life to distant worlds.

  • For the Egale has landend. Tell your children when when time grows old but u never surender.

  • I'm a Rock'n'Roll-kinda guy. The music that defines me is the Heavy Metal from the british isles, the driven Blues from the missisipi delta and the strange Psychedelic Rythms from europe and africa.

But you know what? This song might just be the most true, important piece of music ever written.

For one, I simply can't complain about the schmaltz and pathos - because for one, all the schmaltz and pathos in the worlds would be mere understatements.

Because we won't be driven down to dust again.

  • It's hard not to tear up watching this video on the day of the last US Space Shuttle flight. Where will we go from here?

  • Oh, My GOD. . . THANK YOU!! To those who say space is not worth it, I say. . . I pity you.

  • To all of those who think that because we haven't been back to the moon that the dream has been abandoned-- it hasn't. Just because the government no longer has interest doesn't mean that nobody does. Every year we're closer, as companies and individuals with their sights set on the stars plan and design and test. The space race continues, only now it's in our hands.

  • @GrigoriZhukov Hell Yes. But If we give up how will it get any better. We are the keepers of our future. Not some nameless faceless they. No you be and the guy next door. So what have you done to make our would a better place today. I am knitting market bags so there will be less trash.
