This is a very brief overview to get you started using Twitter to enter RT (retweet) contests & other contests. If you have questions, comment below and I will try to help with the answers, but I am no expert and have lots to learn myself. I apologize for pauses in the video... I was just winging a quick informational video to help someone.
Be sure your profile is public, private accounts can't enter many contests.
I've won multiple contests lately, you can read about them on this link and my name is Mommy2TwoBoys on that site:

Good luck and I hope you win lots of wonderful prizes!
I believe when you say "hashmark" in Twitter language that means "#" correct? Also, I have seen in some tweets that there are more than one item in blue (a hashmark, and maybe the name of the contest...how do you put both of those itmes into a tweet? Thanks for the helpful video!

@losingitagain This is referred to as a #Hashtag... any word following the # (pound sign). You may have to manually write or copy and paste what's in the retweet requirement. For example, the @Uncrustables tweet reply I would write: @Uncrustables I was first introduced to #Uncrustables Sandwiches by a family members. #UncrustablesQnA This would be an acceptable entry in their daily Q&A contest. Searching a hashtag allows you to follow all conversations on that topic. HTH!

@losingitagain Also, many Twitter Contests are simpy "Retweet this for your entry", meaning you simply hit retweet and there isn't anything you can edit in a retweet. If a tweet tells you to RT or reply with the rules link, you must have the link included in your reply. The correct way to manually retweet would look like this: RT @Uncrustables "their full message". You simply put RT in the front, the tweeters name and then their whole message, including the link. HTH!
