For years, a small but dedicated group of people worked tirelessly and most of the time alone to save thousands of strays from a life of misery, despair, cruelty and death in the streets and forests of Istanbul. All those animals were given a Second Chance.
Today those animal rescuers are not alone anymore.
This slideshow is dedicated to all of those, regardless of their nationality or creed, who have selflessly dedicated their lives to the animal rescue and the protection of animal rights.
