I suppose this is the Abbie Conant who finally won through against the ghastly sexism of maestro Celibidache et. al. in that long-winded Munich 'cause celebre' a few years back? Heck, she really can play that trombone! (The old maestro must have had such intransigently strong misogynistic prejudices that he simply couldn't - or wouldn't - hear the talent right under his nose.)
