I'm not jewish but lived in Israel for a while, back in the 80's. This song was in a film i got from a parachuter friend of mine. I loved that film, and this song! I still have this video and just by chance i dumped into the song today. Love it :) Also love Israel a lot :) Bless you all

I was in the army when this came out, and got to sing this in Lebanon -- and do most of what's sung. Very bittersweet memories: a lot of pain on all sides. A lot of fear, too. I pray we can find some way to come together in peace. As a former "tsfon'ni," I know it's possible.
