I just got my copy of My Neighbor Totoro for my Miyazaki collection so I wanted to make my own totoro set ^_^ I finally got all my yarn back so I just finished my first ear of this white one. I can't wait to finish the whole thing. If you don't have buttons for the eyes is there a good alternate way with yarn that I can sew black eyes into the doll before stuffing it?

@VampArtemis You could try to embroider the eyes on or you can get buttons if you can't find safety eyes. Some buttons do not have holes through them so you can use those.You can also use large beads. Or you can make a small circle and sew them on.

i followed your instructions or so i thought it was coming along well making a nice domeish shape for the head then in the 2nd video you said you should see thetips of the ears forming and i facepalmed
