I wish I had a video camera. I watched my buddy's 97 RM125 beat a yz426 in a drag race. but besides that. 2 strokes are better IMO. I love my rm250. but honestly. if you want a 4t. good for you. when you buy 1 valve for the same cost that it takes me to rebuild my top end. we will see who is doing better. plus. the way i see it. if your scared of a 2 stroke? more for me to buy haha

o no buddy. ride a 250 2 stroke. twice the bike as a 250 4 stroke. cr500 > crf450 any day. but all in all........ to each there own. i really dont care 2 stroke can have bottom end power to. just man up and ride something bigger than an 80

I love my 426! But yea not the best for woods trails.

I have now owned both of these... the 250 will destroy the 426 if you're in the woods, but in the open the 426 is incredible.

Bad luck mate. I've raced two stroke 250s (road racing mainly) and never had a single problem.

@JustEnduro i agree with ya its the same reason they are trying to go with all electric cars like the gm volt its not to save the earth all that is a bunch of crap its to make more money electric cars cost more money to build an their batterys last not even half as long as a gas motor an cost 3 times more
