Been there 4 years and never had any meetings... until last week...

The ONLY meeting I went to was so they could tell myself and 48 other people we were being laid off...

Wal*Mart is great at these meetings. I actually go to them (hopes no managers are reading this) because there's nothing else interesting to do. Folding clothes and straightening boxes is only entertaining for about 5 to 10 minutes tops.

Why complain about meaningless meetings? Are they not a good break from work? Sometimes, I just tune out everything about the meeting that does not have anything to do with me or my responsibilities. I hear:

"Blah blah blah... And Steve is going to order 50 more boxes of paper towels. Tony will... Blah blah blah..."

I don't care what Tony has to do.
