Supplementary: Arabic is Quran's original language. There are already Arabic manuscripts of Qur'an available in museums of Samarkand (Uzbekistan), Turkey and some other countries, [ dating back to 1st and 2nd century after Prophet's Hijrah (600s and 700s AD) ] and these manuscripts have same language, same verses and same chapters as the copies of Qur'an available today.
Unlike Bible, it was common to memorize whole Qur'an by heart, or else it was handwritten as there were no printers around)

Now, how many of Christians have you seen who memorized whole Bible by heart? And, how many non-English speakers have you witnessed who memorized whole Bible in English? Or how many non-greek speakers have you seen who memorized whole greek Bible by heart?
If you have any doubt about Muslims then I suggest you to visit a nearby mosque and see for yourself.

3- The fact that the Quran is automatically memorized in a way that they can detect and correct any recitation mistake on the spot, just by hearing it (or by reading it). If you want to witness an example of memorization of Quran, try this video: watch?v=3f-IZVqIre4
4- There have been thousands or at least hundreds of Muslims in any moment in history who remembered whole Quran by heart.

This lecture wasn't about Quran but since you raised a question about "oratory not being precise", I find it necessary to add some exceptional facts to your knowledge.
1- Millions of Muslims in the world have memorized whole Quran by heart. It is very much common among 6 to 15 years old kids to memorize whole Quran by heart.
2- Only 15~18% of the Muslims are Arabs, 82~85% of them are non-Arabs. That meas Arabic is not their native language, so they don't know Arabic (except few who learn it).

Misquoting Jesus is awesome. It's easy to read through, thought provoking, and filled with information that every Christian needs to be aware of.

Clearly, those who watched didn't look at the entire 10 parts, and that's understood. But if you did or just watch the tenth one, he explains that oratory is not as precise as people may think. It's believed to be word for word, it isn't. Problems with misinterpretations may occur, some of what he mentions in this could have happened for the quran because someone still wrote it and it may have wrong translations and, do you really think a 1400 year old story would stay exactly the same? no way.

I've read it (in Arabic), it is really an eye opener book and reveals a lot of facts about Christianity and Bible. The amazing thing, the book has an appendix with some pictures for the revealed manuscripts. I've heard that the book is in a translation process now, hopefully it will be available in English soon.

We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and that which was vouchsafed unto Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered. Praise be to Him, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Him from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides will never be led astray.

i challenge you people to find the understanding and the real meaning behind that word JESUS or Jehovah
you also have to remember that there were no JAYS or J's back in the day, everything was said with a Y instead

That's a very scientific and scholarly exposition of the Bible. This man has done a great service to human minds especially the christians. It would be interesting if Dr. Bart Ehrman can make the same quality of study with the Qur-an. That's actually an challenge from the Qur-an for those who think.
