Drew is way off base calling this a "love story". They had an abusive relationship enabling the very worst aspects of one another. They had a horrendous life.

I'm living on a farm in SA where "the Fabulous High Life of the Heiress who couldn't say no- to" A Lion in my bedroom". Pat Cavendish O'Neill lives with her Chimp Kalu, her baboons, many dogs & cats, peacocks too!!! There is a movie to be made here too!!

This is such amazing movie...It made me think about my mother and I,honestly, I don't want to ever end up like little and big Edie. I think that my mother would kick me out of house if I won't move out until I turn 25.

And both of them should have had Oscar's for this!

How could you not fall in Love with them...Edie never let her Spirits down..I would have Loved to have spent the day with them..

i saw the film a few months ago on tv....it was amazing!! and then the documentary was on the same channel right after the movie....and i was stunned,...makes u cry but u end up falling in love with the whole thing. i wish they ddnt go thru what they had to go thru....but that was their kismet :-( at least they were happy in their own frames of mind
