@fengshui522 Then, when you return to the surface, find longneck. if he hasn't buried himself by now, go back into the nuero tower and die enough times until he has buried himself up to his head. when that has happened, retrieve a heart seed from the neuro tower and throw it in one of the consciousness orbs. when you return to the surface, take the heart seed and give it to longneck. when he has gone silent, purify him. then take his baroque.

@fengshui522 Here's what I've collected from various places on the internet: Survive until -1600 cubits and find archangel. When you find him, figure out how to enter the Orb he's impaled on. When you enter it, it will take you to the bottom floor. Do not shoot what's down there, but instead stand next to it until you trigger a cutscene.

@fengshui522 "purifying" someone is what happens when you kill them. because the game takes place in a distorted reality, killing them in this world purifies their souls, allowing them to go to the afterlife in peace.

I'm confused...I just bought the game and I was wondering how do you "purify"? Is there a certain floor I need to go to in order to understand what's going on?

Heh I purefied all of the Koriel I was suprised when I did and the last one I purefied thanked thanked the protagonist I think the story is really great.:)
