3SNY's first attempt at a tutorial video. In this video you will see what you need to replace a limiting switch in an active aero motor for the 91-96 3000GT VR-4. This switch is what usually fails, which in turn causes the active aero to not work properly. Please note that while reconnecting the limiting switch the connections were misplaced. There is more info regarding this mistake in the video. This is the first one of many we will be creating but we wanted to get this out there to show the 3S community that 3SNY is working hard to preserve these cars and provide information to our fellow enthusiasts.

  • @3SNYCarClub can u add a video on how to take off or install a front active aero i bought a vr4 for 1,500 and its missing the front active aero looking forward to more videos too.

  • @piecartbox

How do you do the front?

  • I hope you don't mean for five regular days? I gotta fix my spoiler system as well. Does it fix the whole active aero system? Or just the rear spoiler? Have a lot of thing I need to fix on my new 3000GT.. It's gonna be a while till Im done. Could you possibly make a tutorial on how to fix the AC display also? I have read it is a simple process, but film of it would be great! Thank you for this one!

  • A couple years ago I had to replace both switches in my rear AA spoiler and I also had to grease the front AA to get it all working again. It's been working pretty good since then, but on really cold days the front will still sometimes get stuck after several activations. It may just need more grease.

  • You guys should do the front dam, and make clear how you know what part is wrong when the aero stops working.

  • im a muscle car fan myself.. but i also like these cars as well... i used to have a 96 stealth... but i do agree.. i hope stealth/3000GT fans preserve these cars for as long as possible. nice video

  • lmfao i ripped my AA off the hinges so it stays down =)
