The Boot and Hoot at Capenhurst and Hooton (Saturday 14th November 2009)

On the rather dicy afternoon of Saturday 14th November 2009 (weather wise), Pathfinder Tours operated the Boot and Hoot - a 'Spin and Win' excursion from Eastleigh to Hooton via Banbury and Donnington Freight Terminal.

The charter was originally booked to feature Hanson/Artemis 56312 top and tailing with a DB Schenker 66, but was substituted for Hanson traction's 31190 a few days earlier.

The tour is seen at Hooton (I would show you 31190 at Capenhurst, but I accidentally taped over the footage at that point - apologies!), soon after DB Schenker 66139 had dropped on to lead the tour to Runcorn Folly Lane via Ellesmere Port. 31190 is tagged along on the rear.

We conclude with a few photographs taken of the charter, at Capenhurst and Hooton.
