It is yet another documentary, shot with my mobile phone (Nokia N70). This time, I narrate the history of Santhome Basilica, Chennai. The basilica is believed to be built on the tomb of St. Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. It is believed that Thomas came to India in AD 52 and was martyred in A.D. 72 and was buried in Mylapore, Chennai, India.

  • Om is an universal chant. Christianity in India as old as Christ himself. It is the propoganda by the right wing that is creating this confusion (obviously hurts their cause to admin that Christianity is native to India)

  • ya right for you guys everything is built on top of your faith. get up cause even you might be sitting on a dinosaurs egg

  • Om? when did that become associated with Christianity? Sree yesunayaga? is it Sri vinayaga? What do you think you are doing? Confuse people, confuse the locals? Saint Thomas ( the original never came to India) this church and tomb was of the Tradesman names thomas from middleeast few centuries later. Fool people. This church was built after demolishing the ancient kapalishwar temple so is Velankanni.. Tell the truth folks.. Christian faith is not Native to India ..dont fool innocent people
