It was another picture-perfect rocket launch from Cape Canaveral Thursday afternoon.
The military sent a Delta 2 rocket into space at around 3:04 p.m., WESH 2 News reported.
The rocket is carrying a sophisticated GPS satellite for the U.S. Air Force.
It's the ninth Delta to fly in this busy year for launches at the Cape.
The only delay was a short five-minute wait to avoid a collision with orbiting space pieces overhead.
