The Visual Arts Program is dedicated to helping students meet the challenges of contemporary art making through assigned lessons that address critical thinking and problem-solving, the consideration of historical parallels, and the application of rigorous studio art practices. We spoke with Linda Grebmeier, chair for CSSSA 2010's Visual Arts department, who tells us a bit about the structure of the program. Then we visited Jessica Rath's sculpture class and and checked in with some students in their second week.
