With great sadness... In memory of Kelly Groucutt (bassist of ELO) who died on the afternoon of 19th February 2009 of a heart attack.
He was a true and wonderful musician and he will be greatly missed by us all.
This was his last Prague gig... :´(

It's such a shame to hear of his passing. Kelly was part of an awsome group who helped put so much energy into every performance and have inspired quite a few people throughout the world. Although we still play his music, He will be sadly missed by all who saw him perform with 'ELO' & 'ELO_part2'

We've been told that Jeff Lynne grieves in private even if he doesn't issue a press release. But as far as I am concerned, if the Zoom Tour can be cancelled via a press release, Mr. Lynne could have issued a brief press release acknowledging the passing of Kelly. He comes off as being quite insensitive by not saying anything-and angering a good portion of the ELO fan base in the process.
