Maybe Howard's funniest appearance on Letterman so far. He and Letterman are so similar and yet so different. They both have the same neuroses and views on life, but the difference is that Howard is open and Dave is closed. That's why they both get uncomfortable, they're just too similar. It's the same reason why Howard can't watch Curb Your Enthusiasm. He's so similar to Larry David that it's like looking at himself in the mirror, going through humiliating situations and misunderstandings.

Stern is the greatest of all time! I have him on sirius and howard tv. This guy does the best interviews and has the best guests. nevermind the sluts and nasty women on his show, but the guests and celebs he has on and the things he gets them to talk about is just amazing! I sure hope he re-ups his contract with sirius because he is the man!!!

you know, i don't care for the game shows or the girls he has on the show (its radio after all)... the best parts are where howard and crew just talk.

dude letterman has invited stern on like 20+ times and he appears on stern's radio show as one of the only places you can see dave besides lettermans show itself... they are good friends.. howard is kind of like daves attack dog... dave was loving every second of it when howard did the leno bit. he was probably expecting that

Hahaha! Not often I hear or see that expression. Last time was on the Pamela Anderson roast where Greg Giraldo referred to Adam Carolla as a "horse-tooth bastard" :D
