The Germans are coming. So are the Chinese, the Brits, the French, and the Brazilian. It looks like the New York Stock Exchange is about to be bought by the Germans. They are buying the company that most represents American Capitalism.
This deal makes investing much easier. This means that everything is for sale in this country. If Foreigners can come in here and buy assets, it means that the prices are still too low.
These Chinese companies coming and buying is heretical. Not too long ago, it wasn't allowed to make such a deal. Who knows which company is in the crosshairs of the Chinese next? You gotta recognize this trend and what it means for your portfolio. The bears will be growling and say that we have seen the high in the stock market for the year.
It's one thing for our companies to buy each other up and merge together. Now that foreign companies can come in and buy American companies, it changes everything. It changes the game. It changes how much American stocks could possibly be worth.
CLX missed the quarter, and it is something that China would love to have. If some iconic American companies have a few bad quarters in a row, they might have a low stock and the Chinese might come in and buy them.
Get used to the idea that one day Wheaties will be the breakfast of Chinese Champions.

BTU is looking flat and down right now. It is going to come roaring back. Please don't sell Peabody (BTU).
