These guys were unknown here in the states. I am grateful that my parents had friends from the Netherlands who brought an LP (Beggar Julia's Time Trip) over in the 70's. Their music is a joy to hear - and these videos are priceless.

Yes but its based on the Rachmaninov prelude in C# minor.(the first tune they play) Excellent band though.
Ekseption - along with Deep Purple - was my first love in music, and I say them live in 1971 in Tübingen, Germany, at the age of 11. This band was melodic, gifted and led by a genius, who passed away much too early: Rick van der Linden. In the nineties I say them again in Frankfurt, and it was a wonderful journey into my own past. Thank you Ekseption - thank you RvdL!
