Funk is top 10 all time american great. One of the great heels ever. Just the matches in Japan and with Flair in 1989 puts him in the hall of fame. Outside of Flair who has had a better career?

@TemplarsVision : Well he was also at Wrestlemania 2 in a tag match with Dory "Hoss" Funk Jr. against the Junkyard Dog and Tito Santana.

true chainsaw charlie was a bad gimmick but if you want the truth
terry funk came up with the gimmick he talked about it in a shoot interview
he should be in every wrestling hof there is though because in my opinion hes the best wrestler ever
think about it flair was the main guy in nwa wcw and wwf at one point
but Funk was the main guy in NWA WCW ECW the indies and pretty much everywhere in japan at one point plus like flair he made so many guys and he freaking built ECW

I totally agree. I think it's a shame that the WWE portrayed him as Chainsaw Charlie instead of Terry Funk...although he later turned out to do the Funk gimmick with a couple of matches against Foley. I am glad that he at least got to fight at one Wrestlmania. Over all he has to be one of the top wrestlers of all time.
