blacktoe CNC machine kit demonstration

This is a demonstration of the blacktoe CNC router kit found at BuildYourCNC.com. In this demonstration, the CNC machine is cutting various shapes into a sheet of MDF (medium density fiberboard). The blacktoe CNC router is made of MDF and is a machine to enable hobbyists to fabricate on a modest budget. what kind of resolution do you get with it?

@turtlemann14 For this machine, I used #40 roller chain and 9 tooth sprocket which has a 1/2" pitch. With that pitch, and microstepping at 1/16, the resolution was as follows: (200 steps/revoltion * 16 microsteps) / 1/2" pitch * 9 teeth = (3200 steps/revolution) / (4.5 inches) = 711.111 Steps/Inch. I now use #25 roller chain which has double the resolution as the pitch is 1/4".
