  • the kit doesn't support manual control, because it created a whole slew of issues trying to implement it. but you can add an MPG, manual pulse generator, and use the lathe manually. Google kelinginc and click on the breakout boards MPG button.

  • What electronic do you use for this conversion?

  • @joyceck2 a couple sources for electronics packages are probotix or kelinginc

  • yes, it will fit the Microlux.

  • Right after Thanksgiving, $549.

  • can you control turning motor speed?

  • @sibco96 i wa thinking the same thing the tool post should never go over center line lol or some bad stuff could happen

  • Central Machinery lathe..That's Harbor Fright.

  • @dougspair ..Bonk!...twice now, my part would be messed up.

  • CNC...don't program the tailstock collision...!

  • @cncjedi

do you have a website with further info regarding this kit?

  • oh god your cnc touch the spindel and damage.

  • wow this looks epic very nice were can i buy this kit ?

  • thats cool little CNC you made there, Love it!

  • Nice kit - I'd add some end of travel limits though since you tend to run into the hard stops.

  • @8bithack On a CNC machine manual control becomes useless. The plans I converted mine with included manual control but I have found that using the jogging feature of Mach3 works just like if not better then manual control.

  • It would be nice of the motors were on the front of the lathe so manual control could be used if desired.

  • im planning o n getting a mirolux 7x16 will this kit work on that machine?
