Go Behind The Falls!!! A trip I took to Bridal Veil Falls about 4 years ago. Sorry for the shoddy camerawork. Hey this was pre-YouTube days:) Also this is an older camera which isn't the best. I cringe a bit at my voice in this video and also cringe at how many times I say something akin to "Look at all that water" -LOL.

  • 1st - Totally awesome video and pics! 2nd - One of my all time favorite movies "The Last of The Mohicans." 3rd - Our favorite vacation spot Skyline Drive & The Blue Ridge Parkway! Thank you for sharing this; it really takes me back to memories of our trips with Mom & Pop every summer to North Carolina ;)

  • Thanks for the really nice comment!!! I'd really like to go back there one day and refilm this again since I've now gotten a better camera.

  • Great Video, Blink! There's a Bridal Veil Falls at Niagara Falls, so at first, that's where I thought you were headed :-) What do you think looking back on it? It must be one of those, "Darn that was a cool moment in my life!" kind of things.

  • Thanks Kate. Ya, I'd love to go to Niagara Falls someday. Luckily these falls are close enough to where I could go several times a year. This is a totally cool falls. I've got more footage of other falls that I'll post someday but this one is the best.

  • Cool stuff. Look at all the water~ =P

  • Hehehehe. Ya, I can't believe how many times I said that:). I'd like to go back next summer sometime and re-record this.

  • Great video. We went there in May last year and took the long walk from the High Falls parking lot. I was a bit dissapointed that you can't really get behind the falls from that trail. I suppose I could have but I didn't want to try to cross the river with the force of all that water coming down. I probably wouldve gone tumbling down the slide. We didnt have time to go the other route but are going back next month next month and hopefully will have a chance to go then

  • Awesome. I can't wait to go there in May

  • Cool. That was one of the falls used in the movie "The Last of the Mohicans" when they walk up the fall and Uncas falls in love with Alice

  • beautiful
