  • Also after taking Atenolol, I do not get palps until maybe 1 or 2 days later. I feel like I need to take another atenolol but insist on not taking it, then I get severe panic attacks just before I fall asleep. This in turn keeps me awake for hours getting these panic attacks. Ps keep up the good video work, well find a cure eventually!

  • I was prescribed atenolol for palpitations (pvcs), they do work but I don't want to take anything that slows my heart rate. I am now trying an alternative approach but yet to find one.

What do you think causes PVCs, I'd love to know. I'm thinking they happen from previous damage to the heart.

  • yea its crazy these meds xanax helps BUT its slows your brain down like speech and it weakens your blatter also memory loss how 2 spell easy words become hard if u can tell i take xanax plus 10 other meds aday so wow good luck :-)

  • Try researching your questions on sources other than about.com and youtube.
