  • Hey beautiful video and music 2 questions 1.would you recommend the HV30 also what kinda of cpu spec do u have to edit? 2. What is the music?:) TA!

  • I would recommend the HV30 for sure, just make sure you really learn how to use it. I use Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0, if that answers that question. The music is "Fishing the Sky" by Kurt Bestor.

  • Great dude thanks for the song its a nice piece of music don't think I like the rest of the album all that much tho. I was jus wondering without sounding nosey what processor and ram ur computer has also what size monitor you have. I have bitty pictures when editing SD on my 37" screen jus wanted to compare and perhaps get an idea before I splash out over £600 for this camcorder. Thanks again dude:)

  • Let's see, AMD Athlon X2 processor, 22" monitor. I don't actually know about RAM (it's a family computer, so I don't have all the specs). I'll have to find that out somehow. Anyway, I have a 1TB external drive for all my media, so hard drive space hasn't been a problem, but RAM I'm not so sure about.

  • That was a little frustrating to watch. Some of the shots are absolutely stunning, and some of the techniques are interesting and appropriate. Other times, I wished you'd linger a little more—the shot would jerk away before I knew what I was looking at.

I'd also like the contemplative nature stuff to be in a separate video from the adventure sequences; I'd rather not see the ORVs.

  • I don't think you can ever have too much RAM, rendering times become almost non-existent the higher you get. Which is extremely nice, especially in After Effects

  • quad is always ideal, but i have a 2.2 dual core with only a gig of ram and it does fine.

nothing lags, but rendering is somewhat timely, so yes, if your running 32 bit OS, 4 is nice, anything more is useless.

  • If I may spread some light on this, I would recommend a dual or quad core processor, as well as at least 4 GB of RAM. The more RAM, the quicker the footage will render
