agreed. if boyle had perfect looks, there would be more nasty remarks. but therein lies society's bias. the world is conditioned to expect great things from "beautiful" people. light is heavenly, and all that is good is pretty. dark is evil, and expect bad things from the ugly. susan is a contradiction of cultural expectations. the world loves an underdog. usually, it's the beautiful people getting the free ride - susan has become an icon for the 90% of society who aren't so "beautiful"
