@axolotlvriend ik vind het een prachtige film maar englisch is fout je schrijft het als english echt prachtige beesten, ben jaloers ik wil ze ook graag maar mijn ouders vinden ze te naakachtig en we hebben al genoeg dieren blalblabla. ik neem het ze echt kwalijk want dit is een bedreigde diersoort die je kan helpen door ze als huisdier te nemen en te kweken(zoals jij doet)!

aja het is inderdaad english :), te naakt? Dat is al de meeste rare reden dat ik al heb gehoord.

In het wild zijn ze bedreigd maar in gevangenschap zeker niet. Iets weg doen van je andere dieren en je axolotls aanschaffen he. Maar ze hebben wel een groot aquarium nodig (120 cm minstens), toch zeker als je meer dan 1 axolotl wilt houden.

The excellent book, "The ancestor's tale " by Richard Dawkins has an interesting chapter 'Axolotl's tale' which explains about neoteny or progenesis, the evolutionary consequence of which is called paedomorphosis. The axolotl is just an extreme among salamanders. Many species seem to be , to some extent, paedomorphic, others do other heterochronically interesting things. @aceman4564564 I've known people who learned how to read through pokemon games. They also teach you to read different languages. Ohh also, a lot of the pokemon are made to be like a real Earth animal, and you can learn something about them.
