White Family Band - Miss America Stand Up

Here's a beautiful ballad with two excellent singers on what is essentially a classic male duo recording with alternating lead vocals and fine two-part harmonies.

It has been suggested that this is Van Morrison but neither of the singers sounds anything like Morrison, and he was never capable of singing with this much soul anyway.

this song is one of my all time favs.

This is a very rare cut and not many people have it.

My copy is on a yellow duke label and the mix sounds a little different.

Because of you it's now in my itunes .
