Fela Anikulapo-Kuti along with his GREAT BAND ,SINGERS AND DANCERS ARE JUST THE BEST I HAVE HEARD,DANCE AND SING IN MY LIFE. The drums,congos,horns and strings stay with me all the time. FEMI and SEUN are truly the sons of this great man for they have picked up the mantle and carry it on to the next level. There is only One Fela.

@diisopropylamine Fela was know at UC Berkeley..i believe he played at th Auditorium in Berkely USA.in the eighties..Goldsmith College in south-east London..New- Cross had a plaque for him..as a former student there when he was in the UK...

I am lucky I saw Fela perform many times. I even watched him rehearse when Kalakuta Republic was located at Idi-Oro. The gate was always open, and we used to stop by after school.
