That is frame by frame animation made in flash and imported to after effects.
But later I found a plugin (trapcode 3d stroke) which makes it possible to do similar effects inside aftereffects.

Yes and with the 3D Stroke you need a mask so you can move it easyer but... it's taking alot of time! I have a question, how do you change the colour by the time? is it by frame?

there is one purple solid(which slides in from bottom)
and a red solid fades in over the purple solid by incresing the opacity of red.
It's that simple.
