@PuckYouMeez without acid, jimmy hendrix probably wouldnt have wrote the unbelievable music he did, and without heroin john frusciante wouldnt have experienced the insane depression and darkness that made him create what is known as The Empyrean, and Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt. I agree that some people it really doesnt make them better musicians. Even some people go downhill and make worse music. But I do know that for a select few it did and does in fact make them "better"
