Emily Peterson (PSU '06 BFA Musical Theatre) performs "Gimme Gimme" from the musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie," music by Jeanine Tesori and lyrics by Dick Scanlan.
For someone who received her BFA and this is her "dream role" she completely misinterpreted Millie. Maybe she "made it her own" but her own meaning out of context of the musical.
It sounded like you wanted to laugh after every phrase. hahah.

It's alright. Definitely not as much punch as sutton foster. But it's good.

I love that you made it your own performance, not a copy of the musical (:

Every time a beautiful woman nails a big Broadway number, I fall in love with her. Which is a paradox, because it sounds both gay and not gay.
