Not only did AOL have the potential of Twitter with AIM they also had the potential Facebook Social Graph with the Buddy List. Monday morning quarterbacking for sure, but its interesting to see that two of the biggest players in social commerce (Gilt Groupe and Living Social) were founded by former AOL employees.
