Here's the thing, I understand where he's coming from and it was one of the best stories I've heard. I too am a sober individual and can identify with a lot of his story. It is ok to laugh at the funny parts, that's why he tells them. Trust me I know I have a story that I tell too. Some of it is funny and some serious. The people near the front of the phone book understand this.

That is called honesty. We've lost sight of what honesty is so when we see it we think it is something special. Sad. It is harder to be honest because you feel responsible for the the person that can't handle it. If honesty was practiced more, people would be able to handle it. I don't always make friends but no one can ever say I wasn't being honest. The friends I have respect and welcome honesty.

it does seem a bit extreme... it reminds me of a quote "any society that gives up a little freedom for a little security deserves niether and will lose both"...or something like that...

you're right they dont really dominate the charts anymore... but my point was sometimes music tends to nutrualize accents....not always but often...

Eventhough he's a comedian, He really makes sense..

Craig's book, American on Purpose, all about his alcoholism and struggles with it, is so amazingly powerful. He has such a great story and such a great voice that can reach so many people. I don't doubt that he is the perfect man to host a late night talk show.

PS- You can tell this is an older episode because his accent is so much thicker and he actually cares about the sensors :-D ha ha

the audience really messed up on this one. they need to realize that he was being serious and stop laughing.
