@asicerik Thanks!! My china cymbal is a (brand new) 19" Sabian Paragon China, Neil Peart's own signature series.

@RUSHfreak56 I just got a new camera.

Is that a new drum set or just the lighting

Well, the time certainly paid off!! I've been messing with it piece by piece, section by section and find some of it very difficult. Having to play the parts over and over either in my head or on the stereo. Nothing Peart does it simple.

@tntaz Thanks! What I like to do is first play along with it until I get the main idea and FEEL of the song down, before I go for the fills and small details. I like to just roughly mess around over the fills, and then break them down over and over again only once I get the main idea of the song and can play along with each separate groove without losing the time.

How long did it take you to nail that one?

@tntaz haha a LONG time. I think I first started messing around with it a couple months before I recorded it.

@littledrummerman100 I use the Zoom Q3 HD video camera. The built-in mics on it are pretty much meant for recording live band performances/drums, so that's all I need to record.
