Welcome to another Berean Perspective online study discussion and we continue the theme for February, which is "Who is Jesus". Originally this study was going to be showing some comparisons of what Islam teaches about Jesus and what the Bible teaches. However during the discussion the topic got more focused on Jesus' atonement and did He die spiritually? Did the Father forsake Jesus on the cross? Why did Jesus say My God My God why have You forsaken Me? Did Jesus go to hell to die for our sins?

Some of the false teachers of the Word Faith Movement that were addressed were: Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, and others.

The Word Faith Movement is heretical and false, and our purpose for this information is to give a proper and Biblical understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Salvation was atonement for through the work of the cross as Jesus being the Lamb of God and through His resurrection. Jesus did not have to go to hell nor did He die spiritually, for those are false doctrines. We will provide answers to you questions if you are searching for resources and references.

  • Praise God brother. I just made a video exposing this movement. I grew up practicing the luciferian doctrine and witchcraft. I am a born again christian now. I explained how Satan has confused christians with this movement. I have had angry christians message me. keep up the great work....press on! God bless and keep you!

  • Brother super duper powers....Take some advice from the warrior...in order to get more views for the proclamation of the Gospel, it would be better to present the issues by having a variety of video presentation along with people being able to SEE you. A single visual with audio does not capture attention on a visual medium like YouTube. I know you're into Mac, but PC's come with Windows Movie Maker, which I and others use. I'm sure Mac has an equal. Use it, my brother. Otherwise, great!

  • Keep contending for the Faith.
