THE MADS in London England
1970 -- 1971

The Mads arrived in England in 1970, under the supervision of Trevor Churchill, and Marshall Chess, manager of the Rolling Stones.

Their journey included rehearsals in the Rolling Stone studios on Bermonsey Street, London. Sometimes they would rehearse in the company of musicians, such as, Ginger Baker, members of Procol Harum, as well as members of The Stones, themselves.

Monongo Mujica, another friend and brilliant Peruvian drummer, with a rock and jazz fusion background, replaced Richard (Bimbo) Macedo, after his departure to pursue other projects.

The Rolling Stones had just completed recording the Sticky Fingers album in their mobile studio, located at Mick Jagger's country home (castle) in Stargroves, England, when The Mads arrived to record their demo. The mobile studio was also used by many bands and artists, such as, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Bob Marley, The Who, The Faces, and many others.

While in England, The Mads performed at The Marquee, Lyceum Theatre, The Roundhouse, Bag of Nails, and other venues in the London area.

  • publiquen el disco, pero haganlo ya!!!!!

  • Esta canción me parece excelente por la fuerza que tiene y porque se nota un muy buen trabajo en los arreglos, con cambios de ritmo poco comunes. Genial poder ver las fotos de la época!
